Canadian artist, Andrea Kastner, will have her solo exhibition, "Walking Distance", on display February 10 through March 27 at the Western Illinois University Art Gallery. 

An opening reception for the artist will be held Tuesday, February 10, 4:30-6:00 p.m. The artist will speak about her work at 5:00 pm.

Andrea Kastner is a Canadian painter living and working in Binghamton, New York. Her work focuses on the overlooked corners of urban spaces and the sacred nature of rejected things. She has participated in residencies at the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Vermont Studio Center, Governor’s Island, Klondike Institute of Art & Culture, and The Haliburton School of Art.

Admission is free and open to the public. 

Parking will be allowed near the gallery starting at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the reception.
