Prairie Pumpkin Hunt

It’s officially “Prairie Pumpkin Hunt” season in the Lakeview Nature Area! This FREE outdoor event is open to visitors every day from 9:00 am - 6:00pm through November 4!⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Ten pumpkins and their accompanying “Wildlife in Winter” facts are placed throughout the prairie for you to discover! Swipe to see our “Pumpkin Peek” trail map which will help you locate each pumpkin! We do ask that you not remove the pumpkins from the prairie, but leave them for the next family to enjoy discovering.
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Parking is available in the lot near the Nature Center or to the left and right of the entrance gate. As a reminder, the Nature Center will only be open during seasonal events, programming, and workshops. We do encourage you to bring a snack to enjoy on the porch as we have ample seating available. ⁣⁣⁣
