WW2 Living History Event

Join us for a weekend full of history brought to life by authentic WW2 reenactors who inspire and educate through live battle reenactments, interactive stations, obstacle course, historical vehicles and more! Interact with authentic WW2 reenactors who bring history to life on October 9th & 10th from 10am-5pm and 11th from 10am-3pm at Veterans Park for this FREE event. Attendees will enjoy: Reenactor Encampments: Living historians representing the nations, both Allied and Axis, that fought and lived duringthe largest conflict in human history. WWII-Era Vehicles: All manner of period-correct, operational jeeps, trucks, anti-tank guns, and equipment used duringWWII. Woods Battles: Scheduled engagements between reenactors, displaying the tactics and sounds of actual combat operations. Uniform & Weapons Demonstrations: Reenactors representing various militaries & homefronts speak about their clothing, equipment, and weapons at scheduled times. Local Vendors: Featuring some of your favorite local businesses plus militaria dealers selling their wares. Food Trucks: Traveling back in time makes you a tad peckish. We will have you covered with several options! This historical extravaganza is part of a series of events throughout the weekend geared towards acknowledging and honoring the story of Macomb and the surrounding communities’ contributions to the war effort.
