Here is what you will need:
  • An Associates degree would be great but don’t stress if you don’t have it as you may have other equivalent knowledge and skills
  • One-year equivalent work experience would help you know what the job may entail and if you may like it
  • A basic understanding of all IT things from operating systems to cybersecurity to networks to hardware to software
  • And the finesse to communicate next steps to those users who don’t share the same IT capabilities as you do

You would be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal employees as well as external customers. Positive and productive interaction with customers by phone or in-person to resolve computer problems related to software, hardware, network and telephone related issues to help them get back up running smoothly again would be a key task. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a customer-first approach, and the ability to work in a team environment will make you successful in the role.  Your technical understanding of various hardware, software and networking systems being supported will be valued.

Starting salary is $26.75-$31.50 per hour.  


The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
